The Lindy USB to 4 Port Serial Converter allows the user to easily connect four peripheral devices featuring 9 Way Serial RS232 to a USB Type A port. Its functional design with cabled connectors offers more flexibility compared with standard box converters. It is an ideal solution for connecting legacy RS232 equipment such as barcode scanners and industrial devices to notebooks,in retail, IT and digital signage scenarios.
This converter is compatible with both Windows and Linux operating systems and as it is USB bus-powered, it can be installed quickly and simply with no need for additional power supplies.
